General Information

Our cottages are located by the sea, 2 Impasse de l'Horizon in Asnelles, 5 minutes from Arromanches les Bains and its artificial port "Mulberry", a key location in the Battle of Normandy.

Please come to the Reception of our Hotel Manoir de Mathan – 9 route de Bayeux - 14480 Crépon – to collect your keys

Rentals are available from 4 PM and must be vacated by 12 PM.

Free parking is available inside the property and can accommodate cars. 


This time may be earlier if the cottage was not occupied the previous day or if it is available earlier on the day of your arrival. To find out, please call 02 31 92 87 24 around 7 pm the day before your arrival.

For arrivals after 7 PM, please call us on 02 31 92 87 24 or 06 30 88 14 07 so that we can give you instructions on how to collect the keys to your rental.

Holiday Rental Clauses

Article 1 – Booking Confirmation
The booking will be effective after the owner has verified availability for the chosen dates.
The booking will be final after the tenant has paid Gites en Normandie a deposit of 30% of the total rental amount by check or provided a credit card number for remote payment by Gites en Normandie.
By submitting a booking request, the tenant confirms having read and accepted these holiday rental terms and conditions.
The rental may not, under any circumstances, benefit any third party, whether an individual or a legal entity, even partially – except with the owner's written consent.
Any breach of this clause may result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement at the tenant's expense, with the rental payment remaining the property of Gites en Normandie.

Article 2 – Cancellation by the tenant
All cancellations must be notified to Gites en Normandie by email or telephone. Payments made remain the property of Gites en Normandie; however, they may be refunded provided the gîte is re-let for the same period.
If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains due to Gites en Normandie. No refund will be issued.

Article 3 – Arrival and Departure
Rentals are from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival until 12:00 PM on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed, in which case the conditions will be stipulated in this contract.
In case of late arrival (after 7:00 PM) or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify Gites en Normandie. If the tenant has not arrived on the date specified in the contract, and 24 hours have passed without notification to Gites en Normandie, this contract is considered terminated and the sums paid remain the property of Gites en Normandie, which may then make the property available to other tenants.

Article 4 – Payment
The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has sent Gites en Normandie a deposit of 30% of the total rental amount or provided their bank card number. The balance must be paid on the day of arrival.

Article 5 – Length of stay
The tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed term shall not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises after the end of the stay.

Article 6 – Use of the premises
The tenant shall enjoy the rental in a peaceful manner and make good use of it, in accordance with the purpose of the premises: holiday accommodation.

Article 7 – Capacity
This contract is established for the maximum occupancy indicated on the rental agreement. If the number of tenants exceeds the maximum occupancy, Gites en Normandie may refuse entry to the additional persons. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered to be at the client's initiative.

Article 8 – Pets
This contract specifies at the time of booking whether the tenant will be staying with a pet. If the tenant does not comply with this clause, Gites en Normandie may refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be issued.
