We had a wonderful weekend in this charming, very clean and well-equipped cottage. We enjoyed walking to la plage in our swimsuits 😊 via the private path. We received a very warm welcome and will definitely be back.

I immediately wondered if I'd made the right choice booking this beachfront apartment. I'd been upgraded, and from the 4-kilometer drive up the hill, I knew it was the right decision. The view is spectacular, especially if you're there to see la plage . Opening the door was breathtaking! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view. I didn't close the curtains once. The apartment is literally 20 meters from la plage. You just have to go through the private gate, cross the pedestrian path, and you're there. You truly feel like you're at the heart of history, at the eastern end of the Mulberry artificial harbor, inside the loop it forms for about 2 km in the sea. Watching the ebb and flow of the tides and imagining yourself in June 1944 is simply magical. The garden is furnished with sun loungers and garden furniture. If it were warmer, I would spend the whole afternoon there with a drink in hand, watching the sandbanks that form every afternoon. The apartment is huge and very modern. If it weren't on the other side of the world (I'm Australian), I would go back every year. It's so close to other attractions like Arromanches, but much less crowded. I'd even like to extend my stay by spending a few nights in the manor house in the countryside; it's so welcoming.
