Asnelles is a seaside village located on the coast of Nacre in Calvados, 12km from Bayeux and 2km from Arromanches. Its beach is known as one of the most beautiful in the region, hence its nickname: Asnelles, the beautiful beach.
An open nautical center all year round, allows activities for young and old; The Char club in Voiles d'Alli is labeled School of Char in Voiles. The club has a few champions that participated in the 2008 Championship of Char in Voiles.

Asnelles was able to keep the quality of life and environment of the real seaside village: there are no buildings, no resort in front of the sea, just small houses, a seafront reserved for pedestrians and a magnificent beach; The old Asnelles has kept its soul as an ancient fishing village, with its stone houses loaded with years, its alleys with the names of yesteryear and its small paths which lead to the countryside and the hinterland.
